  1. Hello Fellow Volunteers,
I've missed the children so much since I left Tutova in November, and enjoyed Caroline's daily posts. If anyone is in Tutova now, please tell me how things are going?
    Thanks so much,
    Mary Beth

  2. Hello,
My name is Alexis and I am looking for a way to make a difference during my travel break this year (March 27-April 9, 2010). I am studying abroad this year in Denmark and my program provides us with 2 weeks of leisurely travel time. I would much rather travel with a purpose than for leisure. I can't seem to find a organization that will just allow me to come and volunteer (I just want to help in anyway I can) for that short time period. I was hoping maybe you could please point me in the right direction or let me know if it would be possible if I could come help you in the orphanage. Your help is VERY MUCH appreciated. :)

  3. The program is through an organization called Global Volunteers. They send volunteers every three weeks (usually). There are teams that start March 13th and April 3rd, and you can stay for one, two, or three weeks. Check out the Global Volunteers website for more information!

  4. Hi! I just found out about this program two days ago and signed up yesterday for the trip in July! I am so excited to be going and helping out with the kids. I'm currently a first-year medical student, and my desire is to do work abroad. So, I know this experience will be eye-opening and very rewarding for me. If you have any advice or want to share any experiences, that would be great! I will try and let you know how things go!
